Kobe Bryant, 41, an 18-time All Star who won five NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, along with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others perished Sunday, January 26, in a helicopter crash. The high-speed impact unleashed shock waves across the globe, leaving invocatable sorrow on his family, friends and fans. The city is in desperate need of mourning and celebrating this world-famous basketball player, idol of millions of children and fans. Thus, the Staples Center decides to hold a celebration event at 8 p.m. this Saturday, February 1, to honor his achievements to the basketball development, and create an official platform for all his followers to memorize this historical moment.

Kobe Bryant, five championships winner, played his entire 20-season professional career in the league with the Lakers. In the past two decades, he has won millions of supporters across the globe, and convinced thousands of critics with his determined will and unremitting efforts of being a professional basketball player, a family-oriented husband and a responsible father of four lovely girls. We want to thank all the fans for your continuous support in 20 years and now is the time for us to give it back.

Every ticket of the event is to be sold at only 1 dollar at our official website, FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED from now. Food and drinks are also available with 50% off. All the money gathered will be distributed to his wife, Vanessa Bryant’s newly established fund to support the families of the seven other people died in the plane crash and other people who suffered from this tragedy.

If you do not get the first access to the tickets, don’t worry. We will set up a free space in front of the Staples Center, with big screen lively broadcasting the event. You may also want to bring flowers, jerseys, candles, anything that shows your sympathy and love for this public figure. Again, this is a platform created only to commemorate his behavior and spirit.

On behalf of his family, once again, we want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers.
